Debt and Money Advice

Debt help and advice is the process of helping people who are experiencing difficulty in meeting their financial commitments. Motherwell and Wishaw Citizens Advice Bureau provides a Free, Confidential, Independent and Impartial service.

We aim to ensure that members of the community are given the appropriate level of advice, guidance and support to deal with their debt and with the other issues that often come with it. Whether the debt is, for example – rent or mortgage; loans or overdrafts; overpayment of benefits; credit cards; credit agreements; council tax or poll tax; gas/electricity bills; fines – any or all of these, and others not mentioned, we can help.
